| Meet the Committee | |
Chairman My name is Ray Hooley and I have been with the club for the last 5 years. Since joining the club I have met lots of good people who share my interest in riding motorbikes and having a good time. I have been interested in motorbikes for many years, starting with a Yamaha FS1E (at 16),and progressing through a variety of sports bikes to my current pride and joys, my Honda Valkyrie and 1953 BSA Gold Flash that my father restored. The club has organised many functions and these bring members and families together. I am proud to be a part of the club that I strongly support and have enjoyed in the past. As Chairman, I hope to continue to enjoy all the events and ride outs we have planned and will work hard to ensure the 'family feel' that we are so proud of. So if you have in interest in Cruisers and Chrome (we all like trying to outshine each other) and would like to meet fellow riders please come along to the club where we will all make you feel welcome. Treasurer 2013 is my third year as Treasurer for the Cruiser Club – I thought after being a member for near on 5 years years it was time to put something back. My time with motorbikes spans from riding pillion as a teenager, on a then boyfriends Triumph Bonneville and worrying my parents half crazy to riding my own bike now and still worrying them crazy ! I really enjoy being part of the club and sharing bike riding time with the other like minded members. We have had some great times and laughs in the past and I fully expect this year to be more of the same !! |
